Tent floor padding for camping and market stalls

A good caravan awning creates an extra, cosy space when you're out enjoying the outdoors. However, it can be difficult to maintain a good base in your awning. The same goes for the underlay behind the counter at a market stall. 

Blankets, mats and other temporary solutions rarely fix the whole problem. With a eco-friendly awning floor from Excellent Systems, you get an intelligent and workable solution that can be moved and adapted to all awnings and market tents. 

The floor modules are made of food-grade, non-toxic plastic called polyethylene. This ensures that the surface you are staying on does not release any unwanted substances or chemicals into yourself or the environment. The modules are easy to assemble and adapt, and require no special tools or knowledge.

Whether you're on a fixed base or on tour, an Excellent Systems awning floor is an advantage to have with your tent. By choosing this environmentally friendly solution, you get:

All solutions from Excellent Systems are designed and produced at our own factory on Djursland in Denmark. Also the floor solutions for wet areas and pools. The elements for the floor are made of polyethylene plastic, which is easy to apply and adapt to the specific wet area you are looking for a solution for. The polyethylene is 100% non-toxic and does not emit any colour, odour or waste substances into the environment in which they are installed. You can therefore also safely walk on the floor with bare feet.

How to - easy installation and customisation

When installing the floor, it's a good idea to start by levelling the subfloor as well as possible. To prevent grass and small animals from through the small holes in the tiles, you can place a tarpaulin under the floor.

  1. Start by laying the tiles along the caravan or the front of your stall, in full width, from left to right.
  2. Next, lay out the tiles in depth so that you have a rectangular plot of the floor's width and depth.
  3. Now you can fill up with tiles in the entire desired area. 
  4. It is possible that the tiles must becutted at the sides to fit your tent exactly. You can do this easily with a regular jigsaw.
  5. Finally, install the slanted wedges at the entrance to the awning.
 
NOTE! If the tiles need to be cut to fit the slant wedges with the entrance, this must be done on the tiles right inside the trolley/ back of the floor, otherwise there is nothing to fix the slant wedges to at the entrance.
