Many questions can arise when finding the right solution to increase accessibility. Some of these questions may be answered here.
Please call us, or send pictures by mail of the place where you want a solution, if there is something you are in doubt about. If you are unable to take measurements yourself, or through family members, we can also send one of our skilled fitters round on occasion to help take the correct measurements,
You first measure the width and height of the step, and any length for your new ramp.
You can now either order one of our "do it yourself" packages, which include standard ramps and assemble the ramp yourself. Standard ramps can be found for example under Quickramp, or Ramps KIT.
The doorstep ramps, as well as other standard ramps, are made to be installed without requiring many different tools. For these ramps are made guidelines, for both adjustment in height, width but also attachment to the substrate.
You can also order the installation of the ramp. Our specialist fitters will then adapt the ramp to your building.
The most important measurements you need to have are 1: the width of the ramp, and 2: the height of the ramp. It may also be an idea to measure how far you want the ramp to go into the room. You can also order our Ramp O Meter to correctly measure the height of the door step/edge, as it is very important to hit the height correctly to ensure easy passage over the ramp/solution.
In Denmark, it is the building regulations that set out the guidelines for how a ramp should be designed. However, as a private individual you have the right to design your home as you wish. We will often find the right solution in interaction with our expertise, the knowledge of an occupational therapist and your own wishes and needs. You can read more about the Building Regulations guidelines here, or call us for a chat about the possibilities.
If you want a ramp with a corner or a rest in front of the door, you need a few more targets than usual. In the vast majority of cases, additional adjustment of the ramp itself will also be required when setting up. Here we advise you to contact us by phone or mail for a chat about your options.

Excellent Systems' installation vehicles are specially equipped for our own produced ramp system, so we always have ramps in the vehicle for direct installation. This saves us waiting time, driving time and unnecessary CO2 emissions. Read more about our sustainability work here.
All Excellent Systems' products are made of environmentally friendly Ployethylene, also called PE. PE is 100% PVC free, 100% non-toxic and recyclable.
Read more about the material here.
When Excellent Systems' ramps are installed indoors, on wood, tile, marble, etc., the ramps are mounted with sheet plugs with tape. The tape can easily be wiped off all surfaces and does not leave marks on the substrate. Unlike other ramp types, your floor or subfloor will therefore not be damaged when using Excellent Systems ramps.
With an Excellent Systems ramp, you get a 15-year warranty. The warranty is valid from the date of production, which is stated under both ramps and tiles. Contact us, if you are in doubt.
